SALMAN AND GOVINDA AS TOM AND JERRY
Salman Khan and Govinda are all set to partner up once more… as Tom and Jerry.
Yes, that’s the working title of the film, in which Salman will play Tom and Govinda will be Jerry. The film will be based on the American cartoons and will be a comedy caper, as expected. David Dhawan is to direct and Sohail Khan will produce.
Tom and Jerry will see the exact opposite of what happens in Partner; this time around Salman Khan and Govinda will be rivals in love. And rather than both helping each other out, they will be trying to dislodge the other from the ultimate goal; which is to win the girl of both their dreams.
The heroine of the film has to be finalised, but preparations have been put in place to begin production before the year is out, and for a similiar mid-year release next year.

However, sources say that the story of the sequel will not be in continuation to 'Partner'. The characters that Salman and Govinda will play in the film will be different from the ones they enacted in 'Partner'.
According to the buzz, Salman will play a character called Tom while Govinda will play Jerry. The movie will explore the love-and-hate relationship between the two.
David Dhawan admits that such a film is in contention but refuses to divulge any details about the storyline. He does say that the film will have Govinda and Salman again.
Dhawan also adds that the film is not exactly inspired from the famous Tom and Jerry cartoon series.
If the grapevine is to be believed, the film's shooting will begin by the end of this year.

Salman Khan and Kangna Ranaut with tom and jerry
Friends and enemies in Bollywood are just like the Tom and Jerry tales, the new friends added in this tale are Salman Khan andKangna Ranaut. The duo have been in news from quiet a long for their on and off friendship saga.
The latest in this friend’s tale is that Salman Khan, who was very much angry with Kangna, have finally forgiven her and is giving the actress tips for marketing her latest film “Tanu Weds Manu”. The “Dabangg” hero was upset for his cameo being edited out of the film; he blamed not only director but also Kangy for this. But after all this he is helping Kangna in making marketing strategies for the film.
According to the info provided by our Khabri, both Sallu and Kangy are shooting in Bangkok for their respective films. When the two confronted each other, Kangy could not stop herself and the lady jumped upon talking with Salmaan, asking for some marketing tips.
But sweat at heart Sallu Miya went a step ahead and called few channels to garner support for Kangy dear. He asked Ashwini Yardi of Colors and Manisha of Sony to help the girl in her film’s marketing.
Well it’s definitely not wrong to say that Salmaan is the right choice for taking tips as everyone knows that his last yet latest film “Dabangg” was brilliantly marketed. We wish that the newly patched up friends do not get any kind of cold shoulders from each other, as we know that being a ‘NO’ friend to Sallu can be a loss....

Just days after the release of their film Partner , rumours are abuzz that Salman Khan and Govinda will pair again for another David Dhawan film.
The film, tentatively titled 'Tom And Jerry', will reportedly be a sequel to 'Partner'. Once again, Sohail Khan Production will produce the film.
