Would Shahrukh Khan really dance for a Salman Khan film?

C’mon, you gotta be kidding us! Do you think that the two ace Khans of B-town would really come together for a movie? You gotta be a fool….April fool!

Last year we learned a valuable lesson. We did a fabulous story on April 1 – which as all of you would know is April Fool’s day – telling you that Rajinikanth would be doing a special appearance in an item song for Aamir Khan’s then-unreleased film Talaash. While we did our giggling from the moment we wrote the story to the time the joke was overtaken by something more funny, some of you actually believed us and cited the (made-up) facts as true some months later. And that made us chortle, chuckle and chitter even more. But now, the turnaround time seems to be shorter. Why? Because we seem to have done it again.

For April 1 this year, we gave you a story on how Shahrukh Khan would be doing a song and dance stint in rival-enemy Salman Khan’s Next Big Film, Dabangg 3. Yeah, yeah, we know full well it will never happen, not unless the moon turns BollywoodLife pink and Shekhar Kapoor actually finishes a film he talks about. But it was a fun story and allowed us to do a little giggle-giggle when we wrote it. What is even funnier is that some people seem to have picked up on the story…again…and are now reporting it as an ‘exclusive’ and a ‘scoop’. Frankly, we would call it a miracle, but that is just us being our usual optimistic selves.

And when we stop laughing, we will dig into facts a little deeper and try and see if this April 1 story that made fools out of so many can ever possibly come true. What do you think?

Salman Khan can change your life for the better if he takes you under his gracious wings. Don’t believe us? Look at the likes of Himesh Reshammiya, Sajid–Wajid and many more Bollywood aspirants and you will be convinced of bhai’s big role in making stars out of ambitious souls. The biggest beneficiary of Sallu’s close friendship, of course, is none other than Katrina Kaif. The Dhoom:3 star doesn’t shy away from accepting the massive role Salman has played in her life, in getting her to the place where she has reached today. There’s no denying the fact that Kat wouldn’t have been the diva that she is had she not put in the hard work she has to make it big in Bollywood. But Sallu’s instrumental role in the babe’s life will always eclipse Kaif’s graceful personality and her tremendous determination to excel.

Katrina too gracefully accepts the fact and maintains that life wouldn’t have been the same without theDabangg dude. “Salman had a huge role in my career. There’s no doubt about that. I value his opinion. As a person, Salman has had the biggest impact on my life. I became friends with him when I was young. And his persona is very strong. If I were to look back and see his impact on my life, it’s been tremendous. So why are we talking about something as small and segmented as a career. Life is far bigger than a career. Of course, what would my entire life journey have been had I not met that family, had I not met Akshay (Kumar)? I highly recommend that if Salman ever gives you an advice please think about it. Because he comes from a correct thinking process. I’m not saying he’s perfect but his thinking process is correct. Obviously, having someone who’s so knowledgeable about the film industry was extremely valuable,” said Katrina in a recent interview.

We agree with Kat. But now we want to know Vivek Oberoi’s take on how big a role Sallu has played (in virtually killing his once flourishing career) in his life. Will Vivek answer? Ideally, he shouldn’t!

Buzz is that Salman Khan will be moving closer to his bete noire##Q##s Shah Rukh Khan##Q##s Bandra residence

While most actors and actresses in Bollywood live out of palatial homes, Salman Khan preferred to still stay with his parents.

However, looks like Sallu is all set to move out as rumours suggest he is on the lookout for a new address. Interestingly, this new home seems to be just a stone##Q##s throw away from his archenemy Shah Rukh Khan##Q##s Bandra Bandstand residence.

A source says, `For over two decades, Salmanbhai has lived in a one-bedroom flat in Galaxy Apartments. But now with his many dogs and other things, the space appears too small for him. He is most likely to move into Sagar Resham, which is just two buildings away from Mannat. `

The building in question is apparently owned by a Gujarati family and has a clear sea view. The source adds, `It is one of the oldest buildings in the area.

A resident of Sagar Resham, on conditions of anonymity, says, `Salman has even come to our building on more than a couple of occasions to check out the place. The deal between the owners and Salman is nearly finalised. ` The handover seems to be coming at a whopping price tag of over `100 crore.

Salman remained unavailable for comment.

I would love to work with Salman, says Aamir Khan

The super hit jodi of Andaz Apna Apna, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan could be seen once again onscreen together, if the right script is provided to the duo. Aamir confessed at an event that he is willing to work with Sallubhai, "I would love to work with Salman. 'Andaz Apna Apna' is one of my favourite films as well. He is a great person to work with. If we come across a script then we will be happy to do it.”

Perfectionist of Bollywood, who is presently shooting for Rajkumar Hirani's P.K. and the second season of Satyamev Jayate, added further, "I don't pre-decide what kind of film I want to do. I go through scripts and see if there is something exciting.” His upcoming Dhoom 3 is expected to be out during this Christmas.

The actor, who has given super hit films like Lagaan and Taare Zameen Par, also brushed off any plans regarding a sequel to 3 Idiots, saying, "No I don't think there was any such plans. I am doing P.K. at the moment.”
